Art Fairs, Anyone! Support Your Local Artists!
You will find a great many fabulous artists in our city!
There is a silent auction, a raffle and an art show this Saturday, May 3. There will be a wide variety of fine art, food and fun. Everyone invited.
One thing I love about Spring is sidewalk sales and art shows. There are two art shows coming up that will definitely be worth a visit.
THIS SATURDAY, MAY 3:
I saw a list of the silent auction items and there were a number of baskets to bid on. One had a baby blanket and things for an infant, another was a basket with wine and other goodies, one had salsa and some summer picnic dishes with a unique watermellon design. I believe I saw a getaway weekend at a cabin in Indiana and a brand new Ricoh printer / copier as well as a beautiful, framed stainded glass picture, a quilt, and some dolls! You will find a great selection of items. There are also raffle prizes!
The individual artists will offer original artwork: ceramics, photography, paintings, jewelry, fabric and furniture.

The following weekend you can stroll down Hamilton Avenue in Northside where the community will have their Spring Art Fair. There will be a unique collection of art and handmade items featuring art from Cincinnati area artists. Artists will set up along the street and there is an Artworks Mural Dedication with Mayor Mallory at Hoffner Park at 11AM. Northside artists show artwork that is unrepeatable in other neighborhoods!
